Growing up I always had pets. Mostly cats, I just love them so much. Now I've moved out about 6 months ago and I am really starting to miss having a pet, having something alive around me that I can take care of and bond with. Officially, I'm not allowed pets where I live but I spoke to my landlord and a small, caged animal is fine as long as it's not to loud. Now, I'm really debating on which pet I should get. I would love either 2 ratties or a small bird, like a parakeet or something. Does anyone have advice on both? What would be the smartest, how much does it cost to own either one if these, pro's and cons and such. Maybe advice on which kind of birdie I should get? How much space they need? I want to know everything, I don't just wanna go buy a pet without knowing how to take proper care for it.
I would like it if they are a bit cuddly and I can really interact with them. Thanks in advance!
