Hey,
I would like to have a pet cat , but I think my place may be too small. It is about 580 square foot studio apartment. I don't need very much space myself, because I am able to leave the room whenever I want.
However it feels a bit inhumane to keep an active animal in such confined quarters. This is in an urban area so the cat will of course be indoors only, which rubs me the wrong way in itself.
i have never owned a pet before, and people seem to think cats do just fine in very small apartments. However I don't always trust these random opinions because i have seen people treat pets badly all the time
