My cat has pretty aggressive allergies. He breathes super loud/aggressive(I imagine it’s painful) and his nose is always runny and swollen. He’s supposed to take allergy medicine daily or as needed.
We’ve tried giving him pills in his food. He eats around it. We’ve tried giving him pills wrapped in food and those pill treats. He eats the treat and spits out the pill.
We then tried liquid medicine because you can at least force feed him. He’s super hard to get a hold of (it takes two to three of us to keep him still) and he still spits out half of the liquid syringe. I know he hates it and I feel bad:/
I hate hearing my baby breathe so loud but I don’t know how to feed him allergy medicine in a non-tortuous way that doesn’t require multiple people restraining him. Any tips?
