I have a male cat, about a year and a half old, and I'm noticing he has gradually been eating less than normal over the last 3 or 4 months. His feeding schedule was raw food in the morning and evening and a scoop of dry food that he can eat through the rest of the day and night. Each food is scaled to half the daily amount for his weight and age so that they equal a full amount together. But the last two weeks he wasn't eating his raw food in the morning before it had to be thrown out so I have not been giving him that. Instead I was just giving him a scoop of dry food in the morning and his raw food in the evening. But today his dry food doesn't seem to have been touched much.
I have noticed that the dry food is usually almost gone in the morning though.
Is this something I should be worried about? Is he eating less cause he isn't as much of a kitten anymore? Or is he a night eater?
This is my first cat so I'm not sure where the line is between reasonable concern and over-paranoid first time parent.
