I adopted a 1 year old stray I found outside and have had him in my home for a few days now. He’s been using his litter box no issue but this morning I woke up and saw that he peed on my bed, and there’s a big yellow stain on my comforter now. Does anyone know why he did this? He had access to the litter box like always. I had cleaned it yesterday morning so it wasn’t 100% clean but it’s not like there was days’ worth of waste in there. Also he isn’t neutered as I just found him (will be getting him neutered soon).
I’m going to try cleaning the litter box twice a day so it’s completely clean for him. Is there anything else I should do?
