Please help my cats peeing problem

I recently rescued a 7/8 week old kitten who was abandoned outside my apartment in India. I have had her for about 3 weeks now. I'm not new to cat ownership but am new to kittens - not to mention a stray street kitten in a foregin country. She is adapting quite well, loves to play and cuddle. Eats plenty of food and poops and pees regularly from what I've observed. I've taken her to the vet for deworming, and will do rabies and neutering in a few weeks. The one big issue I'm having is her peeing in the litter box. She always poops there, and sometimes during the day she will squat on a blanket and I'll quickly move her to the box, but for the most part she goes there during the day. But in the late night / early mornings every time I let her sleep with me she without fail pees in my bed, on my comforter to be exact. I wake up multiple times throughout the night to bring her to box, twice now she has pooped in box then came to bed and peed. Ive done everything I've read online, played/ate on my bed to changer her association, her litter box is cleaned 2 or 3 times a day, I got a 2nd litter box for in my room she hasnt used yet. The only thing left would be going to the vet but I think this might be some sort of behavior issue, since she was abandoned she is quite needy, meows quite often. Although she has everything she could possibly need, food, litter, fresh water, warm bed, plus plenty of active play time and cuddles, whatever she gets she wants. I've been focused on her basically 24/7 the past 3 weeks. Ultimately I just want her to be happy here and alleviate whatever issue is causing her to pee on my bed. If anyone has any tips or advice I'd love it! I have had her sleeping outside my room twice, and that was fine, she didn't pee anywhere and no crying that I could hear. But I think we both like being closer at night so I would like to find a solution so she can sleep in bed with me when it's all said and done. Thanks 🙏
