My wife and I are considering adopting another dog and found one that looks like they'll work for our house that's currently in the shelter.
I'm not 100% on my decision. While I think getting another dog is cool and sounds good I'm not sure if I'm making the best choice.
Our current dog is friendly and always does well around other dogs.
We have an almost two year old that does great with our dog now.
Has anyone else with a small child adopted a second dog? According to the shelter the dog we're looking at was with another family with other dogs / children.
We can easily afford this but both parents work. I'm able to take one week off to help the new dog adjust to our household.
Anything else I should consider?
