Any tips on bird proofing my room?

I am getting a lovebird next week, it is hand tamed and just a little baby right now, we are waiting until its fully tamed before we get it.

I dont think I am going to clip its wings and I want it to be able to fly around my room. So I must work on bird proofing the room. Any tips for this? The guy who is selling us the bird gave a few tips like put tape the fan switch down so they can't turn it on, and cover under your bed so they can't go under it.

Anyone else have any other tips? Should I cover my electrical outlets, keep certain things out of reach? I was thinking of putting a protective cover over my bed as well so I dont end up having bird poop on my bed lol. Thanks!
