Last year in May, a feral cat gave birth to four kittens in my backyard. I started feeding her because she had to nurse her litter. It kept going on, until she abandoned them. The kittens stayed in my backyard, I kept feeding them and gradually I made friends with them. There are three kittens (one male and two females) who stay in my front yard now. My grandfather has built them a cozy little house for winters, and they love it. Sometimes they also go outdoor and always come back home. The thing is, they're comfortable with me and my family, but they're not fully domesticated. Now there's a bully cat (feral) in the area, who visits my babies some times and makes weird noises, he is just as big as my male cat. All my cats are hella scared of him. For last two nights, this bully cat has been sleeping in their house. He kicks them out (and poor babies sleep in the cold lawn, and they don't get enough sleep). My male cat doesn't go out anymore either. There are two advices people give me: 1. Take them in. I can't do that because my mother is allergic and my sister hates cats. 2. Animal shelter. I can't do that because I think they're pretty happy here (in the absense of that cat), and because animal shelters aren't great places in my city.
Sometimes I just want to capture the bully cat and take him somewhere far from here but that'd be cruel. He's used to this place and it's his natural instict to dominate.
Is there a better solution?
