New cat likes other family members more than me

Hi everyone! I recently adopted a 3 month old kitten for our home. For context, I'm living at home with my parents along with my sister. I was the one who really searched for the cat, and brought him home last Saturday, set up all his stuff, and since then I've been the one solely filling his food/water bowls, cleaning his litter box, cutting his nails, and putting him to sleep at night (he mainly stays in my room since it's the biggest). For the first day and a half he expectedly was very timid and reluctant to be around any of us, but eventually he started coming around and is comfortable with everyone. However, I've noticed that for some reason he's still not as comfortable with me as he is around everyone else, espicially my sister. For instance whenever my room door is open he bolts to hers and loves to sit on her bed. Meanwhile if I put him on mine he'll shortly get off. If he's in the living room and I come near him to show some love, he'll dodge it and hide under the couch. In general it just seems like he doesn't like me or is afraid of me. I understand that it's barely been a week and they take time to adjust, but it's just frustrating and honestly heartbreaking to see him showing more love to everyone else as opposed to me, espicially since I'm the one who is literally doing all the work for him. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated :)

Tl;dr: new kitten likes other family members more than me, even though he stays in my room and I take care of all his needs (food, water, litter box, etc.)

Edit: I probably should add that I'm a first time pet owner outside of a couple fish
