Is it bad to give my almost 4 y/o cats kitten food?

I have two almost 4 y/o cats, and I got a 5 mo kitten late January (now 7 mo). I have my older cats on a weight control food because one of them is a little overweight, but because of the kitten I had to buy kitten food because it would be more nutritional for her. I try my best to not let my older cats have the kitten food, but they’re persistent and I didn’t think it was hurting them. They all get wet food once a day so it’s not like they’re eating the kitten food as if it’s the only “tasty” thing they get.

But I was thinking about it, is it okay for them to eat the kitten food? Not all the time obviously, but if they happen to see it sitting out and snack on it from time to time?
