Hi all, I got an 8-week old kitten today. He is a long hair cat and I am wondering if any of this is normal. When I got him he peed a little in his carrier, but not much. The ride was about an hour and I could see he was nervous. When we get home I put him on his bed and he doesn't seem to be afraid but is tired and falls asleep for about 1.5-2 hours. Then he wakes up and poops in his cat tree instead of a litter box (understandable as he's new) and his poop is loose but not watery. Nevertheless, he got the poop on himself and proceeded to hide where he then threw up. I'm not sure whether to bathe him or not but there is poop on his coat, I'm also not sure if any of this is normal for a first day. Please let me know your opinions. I've had cats before and the throw-up on the first few days has happened but never the poop incident.
