My 9 month old male cat (not neutered) has started peeing on my and his bed since the last week. He just sits there and starts peeing. I've taken him to the vet to have him checked out and the vet said everything is fine health wise. The vet said he might be spraying, so I've scheduled an appointment for neutering next week. I've thoroughly cleaned the areas where he has peed and deodorized it to my best abilities. Nothing has changed in the household that would cause him stress or anxiety, his litter and litter box are still the same, there's nothing new about my bed or his, my partner and I are still the same people, I'm not pregnant either. We give him food on a timely basis (3/4 times a day, wet and dry food), play with him and give him attention several times a day. All in all he's a very spoiled kitty and we're scratching our heads as to what might be going on with him.
Edit: he's fully potty trained, the only other time he has peed out of the litter box is when he was sick, which is completely understandable
