I don’t want him to think he’ll get anything he wants by meowing. I stay home with him all day and play with him but at night I don’t let him in my room cause he will be jumping around and not let me sleep, he’s been meowing at my door so I’ve been not letting him in.
I’ve seen a few articles saying if I stick to it he’ll eventually learn but when I posted on /NoStupidQuestions people said to just let him in but I feel like that will just teach him that he can get anything he wants by meowing. He has everything he needs he for sure just wants attention, he’s otherwise pretty well behaved.
I’ve given him some calming treats at night so I’m pretty sure it’s not anxiety, he doesn’t seem to get anxious at any other time I genuinely just think he’s mad that all my attention isn’t on him 24/7
