We just found an abandoned kitten on the road, just a couple weeks old and badly injured by another animal. The poor thing’s eye has been damaged and poorly healed over for some time. It is moving around okay despite its wounds but we have no way of feeding it or helping it other than providing a safe home for the night and some water. It can stand and walk, at least a couple weeks old but no more than four or five. Is there anything we should be doing tonight that would help the little guy survive? We gave him a dish of water but wasn’t sure if cat food would be good for him. Any advice or other subreddit suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to anyone who reads this.
