Hi,
We have a very nervous 4 year old male neutered cat who was diagnosed with FLUTD last week. For the last month or so, our 1 year old male neutered cat who has been with us for 9 months has been tormenting him. He chases him, follows him to the litter box, just doesn't let him be in general. The older one tries to hide but the little one doesn't let him so then the older cat hisses at him and sometimes attacks him. I spray them with water when that happens but they also do this when I am asleep. We have 2 litter boxes (one is a giant box), lots of places to perch, a big crate with a noise reducing blanket over it, 2 feliway diffusers and have been giving the older one gabapentin every day.
Why is this happening after 9 peaceful months and what can be done about it? It is getting out of control.
