I am looking for an automatic litter box that isn't super pricey and works well.
I have 3 cats. One is 10 months, one is about to be 15, and one is around 9. I have 3 normal, large pan litterboxes and 1 tidy cats pellet litter box.
I love the pellet litterbox! The problem is my 9 year old won't use it. She is picky (siamese) but ALSO all 4 declawed (not by us). She does not like the large pellets. My 15 year old is...well, old. He gets a steroid injection every month so it causes him to pee. A lot. Scooping the litterboxes takes 20-30 minutes every day because of the amount he pees plus the two other cats. He recently got a UTI so I am looking for something that helps maintain a cleanly box for him but also shaves off time for me.
I have used normal clay litter in the past, and the crystal litter. She also hated the crystal litter and I hated that the urine didn't clump. The Scoopfree litterbox seems to be the best in price and effectiveness that I am looking for, I just can't use the crystal litter. I could use the clay litter, I just HATE it. I use the arm and hammer corn litter and LOVE it. The odor is trapped so well. All my cats love it. I would love if I could use that instead. Does anyone recommend anything for me? Anyone have an automatic that they use corn litter with?
TLDR; 3 cats, one that is on steroids and pees a lot and is susceptible to UTIs, one that is declawed and very picky, looking for litterbox that can possibly use corn litter with.

EDIT TO ADD: My 15 year old also has some pretty wicked arthritis in his hips and back legs, so a covered litterbox seems like it would be hard for him to get in and out of. I also am unsure if my siamese would be thrilled about a covered box.
