I took him three nights ago to the vet because he was straining to pee and was in a lot of pain. They inserted a catheter and observed him for 36 hours. He was cleared to go home and now the very next day, today, he's straining to pee again. He accidently got into his old dry food again last night so I'm worried that's what brought it back.
Do I bring him back to the emergency vet? I really can't afford to drop another 1,300.
