I’ve had my cat for 2 years (he’s 2 and a half) and he is a lovely cat. Although, lately he has been RIDICULOUS. He is so clingy, he claws at the bathroom door, my bedroom door, the window when I’m in the backyard, follows me everywhere screaming and wanting attention. What do I do?? He will not leave me alone. At first I thought it was adorable, but now he’s destroying the doors and the screens on the windows trying to get to me, and tripping me when I’m on the stairs. He has always been needy, but it’s escalated to the point where I have NO clue what’s going on.
Edit - he has friends, I live with my family and altogether we have 5 cats (including him). I also have a beardie, and they get along well.
