Does anybody else feel this way

I have a hard time trusting vets. Very often I hear about people taking their animals to the vets and they keep them overnight and their pets end up dying. Usually this is due to surgical complications. I don’t think vets explicitly come in with the intentions of harming them by any means but it sometimes feels like they’re not trying. I hear about pets dying due to complications that would be considered minor in human medicine but in the case of animals they don’t do anything beyond keeping them for observations. This is not by any means a conclusive statement—purely my sentiments and I’m wondering if anybody else shares that.
