My dog (8 months, golden retriever) recently got a small rash on his paw, so his vet had him wear a cone for a week or two. After removing it, I realised that my pup had stopped eating on his own. Often I would have to hand feed him a little bit and then he would start eating, or I would have to push him to eat. I am sure he isn’t sick because he’s still his usual energetic self, and when he does eat, he finishes everything with no problem. I realise now that I’ve only started having these issues ever since he wore his cone. Other weird habits I’ve noticed— he only eats on his own if there’s wet food mixed in, or if the food is on the floor. Any advice? I haven’t found any actual tips to fixing this online
