Feeling a little defeated...

I have had a pretty successful 5 cat household. I unfortunately lost my cat to cancer at the end of May and it's been a void with her gone. I have 3 boys (2 are brothers) and 1 female (the mom of the boys).

I felt ready to save a life again after mourning and a local city shelter was full so I decided to adopt a kitten who is a girl. I have had her since Friday and so far so good. She's been adjusting to the bathroom (her temp space) very well and so far the very limited interactions with the cats were good.

Until tonight. I let the female cat go in and check out the kittens space and it started off well. She was smelling around and then got in the kittens bed and rolled around in it. Rubbed her face on it. Then she peed on the bed! I don't know if it's anxiety or turf war or what I never had this happen before and at a loss and feeling defeated. I know it takes time and to be patient but I'm just worrying alot now. Please tell me it's going to be okay 😫
