My cat ended up falling out of the window in my two story apartment. The screen was thin and ended up popping off overnight and I’m sure that my cat must’ve ended up falling with it. He never has had a desire to runaway and usually doesn’t jump from high places.
I’ve put up posters, walked for miles around the complex and the block, I’ve talked to so many people from the neighborhood and none of them have seen my cat. There are a lot of strays that live behind the complex but even when I sit and wait out with food, he doesn’t show up. I’ve tried the litter box method but there’s no a lot of places to put his litter since the sprinklers come on at night and because I also live on the highest floor.
I’m not sure what else I can do, it’s been 3 days but I’m extremely worried because I live in the city. He’s only 1 year and 5 months old and has been an indoor cat his entire life and I worry that he’s scared and alone somewhere dangerous.
TL;DR Does anyone know how to attract lost cats in apartment neighborhoods? Or any other methods to bring a lost cat home?
