Help! Introducing new kitty to 5 others

My brother adopted a kitty off the streets this past September, and they just now decided that they can't support it any longer, so I'm adopting it. I have 5 other cats (3 siblings, mom and dad. All spayed now) They've never needed introduction obviously.

Every guide I read is about introducing two cats to each other, but nothing about introducing one cat to multiple, especially a family. I know I have to lock the kitty, her name is Arya, in a room for a few days and bring her stuff from the others to smell, and when she wants to explore isolate the others somewhere else. There's no free feeding so scheduled meal times are covered. Is there anything else I should take into account with introducing Arya to the family? I want this to go as smoothly as possible so there's no fighting or hostility in the future. I'd appreciate some advice
