Her name is Molly, she's 9 months old and a Yorkshire/Maltese mix. She currently weights 4.1 kilograms (or ~ 90,4 lbs).
So as already stated in the title, she refuses to eat anything. She'll always go to her bowl, sniff the food and then just walk away.
Sometimes my mother will proceed to feed her either by feeding her with a spoon or by letting her eat straight from her hand.
About the food: My mother always cooked food for Molly and gave her rice mixed with meat (poultry or beef). Additionally she would give her vegetables like carrots sometimes or a little bit of salmon oil. She also got kibble sometimes and never had any problems with eating it.
Now she barely touches her food. My mother already tried a lot, but Molly still doesn't want to eat.
Since her stomach is empty, she vomits a lot.
She already started eating less since she was in heat the first time 3 months ago. But now it seems like it's getting worse and worse.
Even though she doesn't eat, she's very active and energetic.
We have been to 2 vets already, who have told us different things. One said that she's just become a picky eater, while the other one claims that hormones are the reason for this kind of behavior. He recommends a castration.
So currently we don't really now what to do and we're very concerned about the health of our beloved dog.
Any advice or sharing of similar experiences and their solutions are very appreciated.
