I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I adopted my 7 year old cat from a shelter when she was 1, and she's always been a very stressed cat.
On and off for 4 years shes been peeing on my funiture and some places on my floor, for no apparent reason. Ive gone to the vet several times to make sure it's not a urinary issue, and she's totally healthy physically.
I've tried several litterboxes, Feliway spray, antistress diet, I even tried giving her Metacam, because the vet recommended this to help ease her stress and anxiety. Generally I'm very careful to avoid stressful situations for her, and try to spare her alot. I'm at the point where I don't know what to do to help her anymore, and I'm getting very stressed myself from daily peeing all over. I'm not even sure another home would do her any good, because shes so nervous of new places, loud noises and other animals. It breaks my heart cos I want her to be happy, and I don't know how to make sure she is.
