Hi Everyone,
So we just rescued a cat, his name is Spartan. Everything is going great, except for a few things. He loves to be close to us, runs to us when we get home, the whole nine yards. Basically everything we wanted in a cat.
HOWEVER, he masturbates. A lot. ON US. At first we thought he was kneading to show affection, but after observing weird back arches and overall weird body orientation, we figured it out. He is 1 yr 3 months and just got neutered, and we read this can happen if the get fixed that late.
Thing is I get this is natural, and I wouldn’t care if he didn’t do it when he is on us. Especially because we love everything else about him.
So what should we do? Once he starts it is about too. He gets a look that undoubtably means a fight if we move him. Plus when it is this early on, we want to prevent any hissing or fights so we can continue to build mutual trust.
For reference, he did it like 3 times yesterday.
