Injury to my cats paw

Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong subreddit, my cat has cut his paw and irs become swollen. We can't see how bad the cut is due to him being aggressive (which we believe is because of the pain) We won't be able to take him to the vets until Monday, and we could do with some advice on how to calm the swelling or just ease the pain for him
