When our cat is being affectionate, she gives a sideways bite and rubs her cheek on us. It's a bite/rub. Sometimes she bites a little too hard. My shirtless, adult son was standing by the bed she was on, petting her today and she did that. He scolded her because a bite was particularly hard. Right after that, she stood up and bit his nipple. It was really funny. She was like a naughty child. But seriously, these love bites can be a bit too hard. Does anyone know what is going on? Why is she doing this bitey thing? It sort of feels like she is rubbing her teeth on us. Is it a dental problem?
