My dogs are 1 1/2 yr old pit mix and 8 month healer. Now for a week now they will throw up sometimes quite a bit. No diarrhea, no acting ill. They will still play, eat, drink normally. Sometimes it’s just stomach acid sometimes more.
I am concerned because I want my dogs to be healthy. They do have all their shots up to date. They haven’t been around any other dogs either for quite awhile. I haven’t changed their food or anything. My backyard is all rocks with a couple of smaller trees. My healer being a typical healer digs a lot especially near trees so maybe she ingests dirt/soil? The only thing is my SO gives them a lot of treats or people food especially recently. This is the only thing I can think of besides we gave them a bunch of toys they ended up chewing to shreds. So maybe some of the toys were ingested?
I want to take them to vet yet I’m not sure if will be any help since they act perfectly fine after they do. Really no lethargy, starving or runs. Also TMI but what does come out looks normal for what it is like no blood.
I am definitely going to get a handle on the over treating thing especially with people food either way.
Has anyone experienced this or any ideas?
