So there is this kitten near my parents house that was abandoned by its mom so I fed it myself and it’s now a few months old. A few days ago I noticed that it started looking like it was in pain constantly meowing and having trouble to balance on its feet, and my thought is probably poisoning. My parents are against taking it to a vet and it has already been 3 days but it managed to survive even though it looked that it will most certainly die. Today it looked healthier than yesterday even though it still has trouble to balance itself but I made sure I changed its food and water bowls and I noticed it even ate a bit today and drank water. Can the cat survive on its own if it keeps eating and drinking water without an antidote treatment? Its not my cat by choice but I feel really bad for it and I really want it to pull through. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
