A friends cat had a litter of 3 kittens 12 weeks ago and my fiancé and I are adopting 2 of them and leaving the last kitten with the mom. We originally only wanted one but our friend convinced us to adopt 2 for bonding reasons and offered us the third as well, but we think 3 kittens would be too much work.
Today we are bringing them home but now I am feeling really sad and guilty for leaving the third one behind. Do you think there will be any issues or sadness from the third kitten when we adopt the other 2?
