My cat in his younger years 1-4 year old would def prefer to be outside (but you would always see him around), but as he is gotten older (He around 10 now) has been really clingy and won't be outside for more than like 6-8 Hours. Well I haven't seen him in like almost a day, it its pretty unusual for him. (A couple of days ago he was gone for like 16 hours, but we thought that was were away for the weekend). Should I panic? Anybody else have a cat all of a sudden disappear for longer periods of time in their older years. We lost a dog a couple of years ago same way where we never seen him since. Not to sound morbid but to cats also go away to die?
