Alright so last August I got two budgies, one of them is 5 and the other is around 2. They were given to me by another family member and before I owned them their previous owner was well able to take them out of their cage and fly around the place. I’ve also been told by other people that budgies are very intelligent and easy to train. I hate keeping them in a cage but I can’t manage to get them to trust me enough to let me take them out and I don’t want to just let them fly out in case I can’t get them back in. I’ve tried researching on how to successfully get a budgie to trust me enough to let me hold it but nothing seems to work. Any advice?
