Title. My pup got tied up this morning and I think it's her 5th day of her first heat. She's only 8months old turning 9months this February 5. I know early pregnancy can lead to complications and I want to know what are the options I can take during this time. Please help me I desperately need your advice.
I've read emergency spaying is an option; but based on my local vet hospital requirements they will not admit an "in-heat" dog for spaying. I'm willing to go the distance and go to a private vet for this case but I want to make sure the safety of my pup.
