Boyfriend and I adopted a kitten about 2 months ago. She’s 9 months now. Everything was perfectly fine and she was the biggest sweetheart until last week. She won’t stop biting and scratching me when I’m laying in bed. It’s definitely not an aggression thing; possibly playing? But it’s /only/ with /my/ feet and legs. Never my boyfriends, despite him laying right next to me. When our legs are intertwined, she’ll sniff his feet before circling around and sniffing mine out only to start biting and clawing. She wakes me up at 1 am to the feeling of my feet stinging from her scratching the shit out of me. I’ve never even seen her bite before last week, but now she won’t stop. It’s only when I’m underneath the blanket. She stares and then pounces like I’m prey she can’t see underneath there. I’ve tried hissing or telling her firmly to stop, but she just runs and comes back a minute later to do it again. It’s driving me to tears out of frustration. I’m just laying in bed on my laptop and she’s doing it repeatedly right now. Help?
