So, let's start at the beginning of the store.
Last Wednesday we took our dachshund to the vet, as he woke up and couldn't move anything except for neck, and head.
He got a cortisone shot in his back, and the vet said he had a herniated disc, which is very common in dachshunds, corgis, etc.
The vet sent us home with prednisone pills [Adrenaline basically] and he got like 4 a day for a few days, then 2, now 1 every day. He's started to move his front legs, and back legs, but they are very weak. He got one of those back bracers that are made for dogs. Ever since we put it on him, he has been barking up a storm, and calms down a little bit when we are with him, but still whines, and barks. We have fed him, taken him outside, given him his pill, everything we can.
Any ideas as to how to get him to stop? It would be much appreciated! Thanks!
