Grain Free Urinary Diet for Calcium Oxalate Stones?

Recently one of my cats had to have a cystotomy performed to remove 5 bladder stones, later analyzed to be calcium oxalate. She has her follow up appointment next week and we are going to talk with the vet more but he made several suggestions for her, amongst them probably changing her over to a urinary diet. He did say that since they are complete diets, it will be fine for both her and her (non-bio) sister to both eat the same thing. However, my initial research is showing that the ingredients in the urinary formulas are not really that great. I have had them on a grain free diet all their lives (8.5 yo) and so many of the urinary formulas are chock full of it.

I realize that she will need some kind of diet change and he also suggested that she get x-rays a couple times a year to check to make sure stones are not developing and to increase her access to and fresh water intake. Since I'm a chemist and have access to such things, I am also going to try to monitor her urine pH as well.

Has anyone here had any success in finding any good grain-free urinary formulas? I know preventing the stones from forming again is important (and far less costly than her surgery) but I still want to keep them on a high-quality diet as well, preferably without grain and wheat gluten. I am currently feeding them a mixed diet- kibble to feed on throughout the day and they get wet food once a day.
