My house is being painted over the next one and a half weeks. This will involve a lot of people coming in and out of my house, and the windows and doors will be open almost constantly.
My indoor cat is very curious about going outside but definitely wouldn’t survive there. I don’t want him jumping out a window or getting out so I need to bring him to my boyfriend’s house until the painting is done. I’ll be staying there too and my cat knows my boyfriend really well so he won’t be around strangers. The problem is he’s never spent any time in an unfamiliar environment. My boyfriend also has 3 cats that my cat has never met (but has definitely smelled and is used to their smell).
Any advice on how to make this time easier on my little guy? He’s 3 years old. The other cats at my boyfriend’s are 1/4 months/4 months.
