We have just adopted a cat last Friday, she was quiet and hiding at first, but would eat and use the litter box when we were away. She got closer to us, comes to rub her head against us, but she started meowing and won’t stop. She has dry food and water in her bowls, is given wet food at night, her litter box is clean. She doesn’t seem much interested in playing with us, she just played by herself with some toys right now, but keeps meowing like crazy. The girl from the rescue has told us that she never meowed before at the foster house so it’s surprising she is doing it here. She is 5 years old and felv+. What can I do to help her?
