I have a two year old mixed doggy that recently had patella knee surgery a month ago. I just rescued him from a shelter two days ago and was advice to keep his energy low as his knee is still recovering. Yesterday, he spent a lot of time walking around and jumping. I tried to keep him calm but I think the excitement of not being in a crate all day got to him. I also bought him a crate so he can spend some time there to rest but he refuses to go in. I am now worried for him since last night he started limping a bit and he is still not putting pressure on his leg this morning! Does anybody have any advice? Did I hurt my new pet already?
