How should I convince my parents to notabout give away my dog?

So about 3 or 4 weeks ago my dog started acting weird. Every time you touched behind his ear he would growl. Before then he was friendly to everyone. Then he started growling at everyone(except for me as I'm his favorite) including people he already knew. Fast forward to 20 minutes ago and my brother is being a five year old. He likes to lay on the dog, grab his tail, sit on him while he's sleeping, and when he gets him he touches the part behind ear(which tank hates) and is just annoying to my dog. He walks up to tank( who is a pitbull & American Bully mix so verry strong) and tries to give him a hug from behind(this is where he touches his ear). Immediately my dog does a Yelp, then a bark, then is growling. My dad ran over and put him in his cage but he growled and barked at my dad too. I've told them to bring him to the vet just to see If there is something wrong with him. My dad is very persistent and won't bring him to the vet for any reason. I don't want to lose my tank. Hes 8 or 9. Please help me find a way to save my Tankers😭😭
