Our dog needs to be sedated at this point just to have her nails trimmed. Due to the quarantine and my mother passing, I've missed too much work to take her to the vet (which I'm not sure is open anyway). Her nails are so long that she's hurting us without meaning it. I need a safe, non-traumatizing way to do this myself. She used to let me, it's just get anxiety has gotten worse the older she's gotten. She's about 50lbs. Even the anxiety meds they gave us years ago for another issue did nothing. I need to do this so she doesn't get her nails caught on something and hurt herself, which she's done before.
