Hello,
So last night me and my girlfriends dog, a 5 year old terrier, was acting very strange and shy. Throughout the night she started crying and whimpering and then couldn’t move her back legs and was dragging them around. We immediately took her to the vet and they diagnosed her with a ruptured disc in her back after xrays and a CT scan. They performed the surgery a few hours after and now she’s recovering at the vet hospital for the next couple days. I have a couple questions, they said it’s about 85-90ish percent chances she’ll walk and be okay again. But will she ever be able to run and jump around again and be almost 100%? She loves playing fetch and hiking, and swimming obviously she won’t be the same but will she be even close to the same again? Should we complete eliminate her from jumping up onto the bed and off for the rest of her life or just for the first couple months? If anyone has experience with this please let me know! I just want so bad for her to be able to run around and play again
