So I got this cat from the humane society years ago. She had a broken leg and gained a lot of weight before we got her. We could never really get her to lose weight. Now in the past week she has become a ball of energy.
She chases us around the house and meows for attention nonstop. Seriously non stop. When we give her attention she seems completely fine and no sign of pain. It's almost like she extremely anxious all the time. When I say she's fat I mean shes a very fat cat, so it's very strange to see here being this way. I called the vet but she didn't seem concerned and even said maybe she'll lose the weight. The cat has recently become obsessed with going outside too. Everytime WE come downstairs she starts meowing by the door almost like a dog. Has anyone else had a cat do a 180 on their behavior like this?
