The waiting period for my new cat's insurance ends tomorrow. Today, I found a small wound on her neck, and made a vet appointment for Monday. Is this considered pre-existing?

I bought Healthy Paws for my new cat on July 15th, it became effective July 16th, and it has a 15 day waiting period after the effective date. So, today is the last day of the waiting period and tomorrow I can start making claims.

Earliest appointment I could get is on Monday - since that's after the waiting period, will I be able to make a claim? I know technically I discovered the issue during the waiting period...but would they even know? Would the vet tell them when I called?
