Hello!!
My puppy, 6 month old short hair mix 30lbs, has issues with baths. But is very stinky bc she loves to jump in rivers and oceans.
We can’t keep her in the bathtub and are terrified of hurting her. Treat training worked on everything she was terrified of except for the bath. Our apartment building even has a professional groomers bathing tub that we tried, nada.
Is it better to have a professional groomer at my vet try to bathe her or continue trying to do it at home? I don’t want her to hate us, but I also don’t think a groomer wants to deal with her...
She lets me wipe her and cut her nails, touch her gums/teeth, clean her ears... but no to the bath.
puppy tax will be paid if i figure out how to share the picture......
