6 month old kitten scratches at the carpet by our bedroom door at all hours of the night. We are running out of ideas. Sleeping in the room with us is not an option. Our other kitten is 4 months and has no issues sleeping anywhere in the rest of the house. We stopped giving them wet food until the afternoon so she didn’t associate waking up with it, we used a spray bottle, we chased her away, used a scat mat to keep her away and she moved it, we yelled “no!” And she does not care. Even when we fed them early in the morning she would eat and then be right back to scratching. I’m losing my mind and about to start locking her in the guest bath throughout the night.
