So i have six small dogs and two of them have been running away since we got them 6-7 years ago. They dig under the fence, they chew the fence (it’s wood), they remove anything we try to put to block them, you name it we’ve tried it for the most part but nothing seems to get through to them. They always come back but we still go look for them just to be safe and they hardly ever leave the neighborhood, they’ve left the neighborhood 3 times (that we know of) out of the 50+ times they’ve ran away and that’s not an exaggeration. Is there anything that goes in the ground such as a barrier or type of fence or anything at all that I could use to prevent this? It’s getting super annoying and have run out of ideas. At this point I’d be willing to go with an electric fence if that’s what it takes I just want that to be the last resort if nothing else works.
