My cat has frequently been vomiting since last night. She is currently underweight and weighs only a little over 2kg, and is a year old. So I got her around March from a friend, and a week after having her at home, she throws up with worms and I noticed that she has ear mites as well. I took her to the vet and had her dewormed but haven't been to the vet since due to the virus and financial issues.
She would frequently throw up 2 months after having her but I since had her dewormed at home a few times. She's stopped vomiting and seldom vomits anymore unless she eats too much or quickly.
For the past month she hasn't thrown up at all and has gained a bit of weight but I noticed that she would throw up after I switched her to a new brand of dry food. I gradually introduced it to her after doing research and hasn't thrown up in a week. The past few days tho, she's been throwing up undigested food to bile or brown liquid. Just now I tried giving her a small portion of her wet food so she has something to eat and vomited minutes after eating. I'm planning to take her to the vet later today or tomorrow depending on whether I have to set an appointment or not.
I'm just very worried since she has nothing in her stomach and is most likely hungry. How am I supposed to feed her if she keeps throwing up
I'm not sure if this could be a possible cause but my mom brought in 3 snake plants into the house. This was prior knowing that they could potentially be poisonous for cats, we've since taken the plants out. It could be possible that she has ingested parts of the plant, but I'm still unsure.
